This is such a cool video that questions the conventional wisdom about twins.
It questions that twins are always born via cesarean.
It questions that twins are always early.
It questions that women can’t vaginally birth twins if it’s the mom’s first vaginal birth.
It questions that women can’t vaginally birth twins if there are complications. Women with prolonged rupture of membranes and women induced for IUGR and TTTS are featured.
A set of twins, each over 9 lbs, are born vaginally!
It questions that women of ‘advanced maternal age’ can’t birth vaginally.
It questions that both babies need to be head down for a vaginal birth. Features a footling breech baby B and another birth where both babies are footling breech. This touches a nerve in me since my cesarean was for a footling breech baby. I’m so happy that these women had providers that were supportive of footling breech vaginal birth.
It shows hospital, home, and birth center births.
It also features moms who VBAC with twins!

This was such a great video!!! Thank you for sharing…as someone who has delivered 2 sets of twins, vaginally, and drug free–I love being able to say “Oh Really?” just like in the video!!!
I delivered my triplets at 34+4 days after Spontaneous ROM. Vaginal delivery with baby B breech and baby C transverse. Baby C was rotated around after the other two were delivered and came down breech as well. They are all 6 months old now and healthy and normal!
Just wanted to add that you are welcome to link to my twin HBAC video on your blog. It’s a few years old since I made it just after my first set of twins was born in 2006, but here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xi37qJ-mIoU
I just love this!! I forward the link to anyone having twins. Thanks so much for making it available!!
