VBAC with an unknown scar: "Hi! I had a csection 11 years ago and now I'm due with my second this December. I have been doing my research about VBACs and I strongly feel that this is something I want to do. Now, when I talked to my OB/GYN she kinda got me mad when I said to her that I would like to attempt one. She pretty much tried to scare me to death and kept giving me weird reasons why VBACs are not a good idea. She also said that since my csection was "internationally" performed (I lived in Puerto Rico at the time, now I live in the US) that she will need my records to see what type of incision I have but that they probably wont get them because of it being internationally. She pretty much left it up to me to get them. Is this a common practice? I have never read anything about doctors needing to know the type of incision in order to determine if a VBAC is a go or no."

Ok, this is a request for more ohhhhs and ahhhs... For a long time, I've wanted to re-record my 6 hour workshop and use a new format for it's online distribution. The learning curve was huge. Professional microphone. High-def webcam. Recording. Video & audio editing software. Lighting equipment & tri-pods. New software for distribution. Editing the (6 hour!!!) narrative. It seemed insurmountable. So much to learn. So many details to attend to.
